Description |
Teardrop-shaped well with image of very stylized frog in low relief on top. Fill hole set into center of slightly concave discus. Frog itself is very geometric, with blocky limbs that come together in a way that resembles a crouching frog. The head is almost nonexistent. A trapezoidal shape with horizontal lines going from discus goes from discus to nozzle. Back feet have visible toes picked out by 2 incised lines each. Tail is also incised and triangular. Bottom has round base with raised foot and maker’s mark that resembles a ‘W.’ Surface pitted and worn with various burn scars on the bottom. |
