Description |
He has a wig that falls in two locks onto his chest in the typical mummiform manner. His face is not especially well-defined, with impressions suggesting at eye sockets, and the only evidence for a nose or mouth is points of raised fabric in the middle of the face. There is also a similar burr on his chin, which has a prosthetic beard attached. The beard has a chip just below the chin, though the glazing pattern would suggest the damage occurred before the final glaze firing. His hands are simply raised bumps, crossed over his chest, and if he was holding anything in them the definition is too poor to tell. His legs are quite slender compared to his shoulders, and the fabric of the faience is wrinkled at the feet as though it was crushed during production. |
