The buildings are askew and propped up with poles; one has a poster that reads: Fight for God and Spain. The four bodies look like shadows with blood flowing from their wounds. There are high, dark mountains in the background with the sun rising or setting behind them. Bold brushstrokes and a lot of texture. |
