Biography |
Tom Prochaska was born in 1945 in Chicago, Illinois. In 1968 he received a undergarduate degrees in Painting and Art Education at University of Wisconsin. He then went on to earn an MFA in Painting and Printmaking from the Pratt Institute in 1970. Prochaska moved to Oregon in 1978 where he taught drawing and printmaking at Portland State University, Marylhurst University, and Pacific Northwest College of Art. He co-founded Inkling Studios in 1981 and then later founded Atelier Mars printmaking studio. His work in included in the collections at the Boise Art Museum, High Museum of Art (Atlanta), Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art (Univ. of Oregon), Missoula Art Museum, Portland Art Musuem, Tacoma Art Museum, and many others. |
