Biography |
Izquierdo, who arrived in Portland in 1942 as a teenaged refugee from wartime Europe, established himself as a leading Oregon sculptor and printmaker in a career spanning six decades. He studied at the Museum Art School (now Pacific Northwest College of Art) and then served on the faculty for forty-six years. Izquierdo was the subject of a major retrospective exhibition at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art in 2013. |
